Ask for the minimum information that helps you qualify quickly. Too many required fields create friction; too few create follow-up chaos.
- Lead name
- Business or company name when relevant
- At least one contact method
- Enough notes to understand urgency or scope
Pipeline should answer three questions
- Is this lead qualified?
- What is the next action?
- What needs to happen before a proposal can be sent?
Move leads forward cleanly
